Start/Finish Times

The event kicks on at 9:00am AEDT (Sydney time) - that's 11:00AM NZST if you're in New Zealand. Join us 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for a quick tech check to make sure your camera and microphone are working, and your Zoom software is all up-to-date for a 9am sharp start. The sessions are half-a-day each day and end at around 3pm AEST, so you've got time to get back to work, or hit the sack, afterwards.

How To Join The Event

Join the room at 8:45am by following this link: https://zoom.us/j/745886168 Before the event, or as soon as you enter the room, rename your Zoom name to ER Name and (Business) e.g. ER Rachael Evans (Workshop Whisperer). We ask you to add the ER, for Enginer Roomer, so that the team can find you easily to help you out if needed!

What To Bring

We'll provide the workbooks and worksheets we'll use in the workshops. Bring your smartphone, and maybe a tablet if you prefer taking notes that way (it's all digital versions of all of the materials you can download on this page.)
Also, pack snacks. It's a big couple of days but there will be plenty of breaks that you can take to refuel and refresh.

How To Use Notability

If you prefer taking notes on your digital device, we recommend using Notability for iOS and macOS. The application allows note-taking and the annotation of PDF files. You can find a walk-through video of the app by following this link: https://www.facebook.com/100001211601491/videos/4197192530331092/

What To Wear

Pants! Seriously, we'll be working live on camera through the event and you'll need your camera on too so, you know, pants are just a good idea. We'll be wearing pants and a t-shirt, probably - you don't need to get dressed up (but you do need to get dressed!)

Book A Tune Up Call

The Engine Room Coaches are here to help you with whatever challenge you’re facing in your business. Perhaps you’re struggling to understand something in the ER’s teachings, or you might need some guidance on what your next steps are in your business journey. Our coaches are available for tune-up calls on a round-robin, meaning when you book you’ll get whatever coach is next in line and free for that booking time. Use this calendly link and pick a time and date that works for you https://calendly.com/----251/20-minute-tune-up

Still Got Questions?

How To Get The Most From Your Days

  • Remember, we're working here, people! Clear some space where you won't be interrupted. If you don't have a space at home, consider going in to the workshop office or even book a hotel room/hire a meeting room to work from if that is an option for you. Wherever you end up, close the door, turn all notifications off & focus in on what is being shared with you. You'll love it, we're sure of it.
  • Ensure you set yourself up in an area that has plenty of natural light so we can see your faces and feel as if we’re in a conference room together. Opt for sitting facing a large window or door so the light is in front of you & not behind you.
  • Join the meeting with your video ON. Your microphone will be OFF throughout the sessions but you will be instructed to turn your microphone on for interaction & discussion throughout the event.
  • Pack snacks. We will take breaks between sessions but they may be quick depending on how the sessions progress. Be prepared & have those snacks handy. Also, be sure to have plenty of water available at your desk.
  • Have your favourite writing materials handy such as pens, pencils & highlighters.
